And my ears are still ringing! What a great show. I'm not much for blogging these days, but I have to gloat and I know this will show up on PTC for all to read and envy. I'll be brief and just give the high lights. They are as follows:
The Dresden Dolls played music.
Enough said. Also, I got Amanda to sign "A is for Accident". They played Hallelujah. Then I shouted, "PLAY AMSTERDAM!" The crowd took up the cry and they played it! I felt special. They have a new album coming out on April 18th ("Yes Virginia") from which they played a few songs -- they were all excellent. Finally, while waiting to get Amanda to sign my cd, I noticed the guitarist from DeVotchKa there. So I went over and chatted with him for a bit. Nice guy. Fantastic!
